Ode To You

And I want to apologize to you,

And I want to apologize to myself,

And I want to apologize to the entire universe.

For I got too swayed with the euphoria,

That I got too engulfed in the utopia,

That I build in my mind.

For a moment I forgot the lines that I cannot cross

And found myself standing ever so boldly on the other side.

I shamelessly make you my own star to orbit,

And decide to ignore all the consequences of falling.

I forgive all the sadness,

I forgive all the pain,

And I forgive all the exhaustion.

So that my ego can be fulfilled.

And that is no other than to keep myself orbiting around you.

So beautifully painful,
